GOJO Industries worked with a distributor to help a multi-location health and fitness
facility operator reduce freight and handling costs. The customer was looking for a way to
lower freight charges and minimize the cost for disposal and handling of a hand-care
product, which was previously delivered in 450-pound drum containers. By switching to an
alternative packaging option, the customer eliminated $60,000 in annual freight charges.

B&J Industrial Supply
B&J Industrial Supply Company implemented a number of cost-saving initiatives for a
large aluminum plant where it holds a major alliance contract. Activities include
consigned inventory, surplus inventory reduction, a change in billing methodology and
other cost-reduction efforts. Total savings amounted to more than $409,000.
